Dr. Bettina Experton, CEO of Humetrix, to Speak at Parks Associates Connected Health Summit Panel

Del Mar, CA, September 2, 2014 - Dr. Bettina Experton, founder and CEO of Humetrix, the mobile apps company dedicated to putting patients’ records in the palms of their hands, will join industry thought leaders at the Parks Connected Health Summit, speaking on the panel: Incentivizing Behavioral Changes: The Impact of Apps and Big Data, on Friday, September 5 at 10:45 am. The event takes place at the Omni Hotel in San Diego. Other panelists include:

Dr. Experton will discuss new HIT standards and HIPAA regulations and tools, such as BlueButton,that enable consumers to access and manage their own health records. She will also review the features of Humetrix’s Blue Button- enabled mobile apps that put patients in control of their health information with the use of their own mobile devices: iBlueButton allows patients to securely download, receive, aggregate, annotate and transmit their health records; and ICEBlueButton provides access to vital health information in an emergency situation.
