Humetrix to Showcase iBlueButton and SOS QR at
Federal Mobile Computing Summit, February 17-18 in Washington, DC

WHO: Humetrix will participate in the Federal Mobile Computing Summit’s Mobile Technology Showcase, which will feature the latest in cutting-edge technology from leading mobile innovators and allows government participants to conduct market research. List of participating companies
WHAT: Humetrix will demonstrate its mHealth apps:

iBlueButton - lets consumers manage care coordination and interoperability challenges by allowing them to securely download or receive by Direct their healthcare records from the VA, TRICARE Online, Medicare and MU-2 certified EMRs directly to their smart phone. Records are securely received, processed, aggregated and stored on the user’s mobile device – they do not reside in the cloud and where they can be hacked. By placing records in patient’s hands iBlueButton reduces the risk of medical errors and costly redundant tests and procedures resulting from an incomplete picture of a patient’s medical history.

SOS QR - makes it easy to alert emergency contacts of your location and need for help with the touch of a button. And when you can’t call for help yourself, SOS QR makes it easy for EMTs, ER doctors, good Samaritans to immediately access your health information and send an automatic alert to your emergency contacts.

TENSIO - is for anyone who wants to measure the effects of lifestyle and prescribed medications on blood pressure. By integrating data from Apple HealthKit with the patient’s own medical records, TENSIO guides consumers on their mobile device to best manage their high blood pressure with prescribed medications, and lifestyle changes. Humetrix pans to introduce other apps for other common chronic conditions later this year.

WHEN: February 17-18, 2015
